Police are looking for a woman who robbed a southwest Miami-Dade beauty supply store at gunpoint in an incident that was caught on the store's surveillance cameras.
The robbery happened back on March 23 at the Ideal Beauty Supply at 22133 South Dixie Highway, Miami-Dade Police said Wednesday.
According to police, the woman entered the store, pointed a gun at a male clerk and demanded money and hair products. The clerk complied and the woman fled with cash and products worth about $5,600, police said.
The suspect is described as a black female, 25 to 35 years old, about 5-foot-4 and 140 pounds. Her face was partially painted white and she may have been driving a blue or black Volkswagen Passat, police said.
