Woman Robs Swiss Tourist of Rolex, $2,000 in Cash: Miami Beach Police

Miami Beach police are searching for a woman who robbed a man visiting from Switzerland of his Rolex watch and thousands of dollars in cash.

Pascal Siegenthaler told NBC 6 it was his first time vacationing in Miami. He was leaving a club early Wednesday when the woman approached him and invited herself over to his place.

"The girl came to me and she said, 'hey, let's go for a drink at your place,'" Siegenthaler said. "I was like, no, sorry. She said I insist."

She paid for the cab ride, and they went back to the apartment he was staying in on the 1500 block of Jefferson Avenue. Siegenthaler said the woman saw all of his cash when he was paying her back for the cab ride.

When he asked her to leave, she insisted on staying and giving him a massage, Siegenthaler said. She poured him a glass of wine, and before he knew it, he felt "strange" and fell asleep.

Siegenthaler woke up and said his Rolex watch, cellphone and approximately $2,000 in cash was missing, according to police.

The woman was last spotted at around 5:45 a.m. She has bleached blonde hair and was wearing a white dress.

Anyone with information is asked to call Miami Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
