Woman Stole $65K in Jewelry From Man She Met at Miami Club: Police

A woman was arrested after police say she met a man at a Miami club then stole an expensive chain, Rolex watch and cash out of his hotel room.

Kira Yvette White, 23, was arrested early Friday on a grand theft charges, according to an arrest report.

The report said White met the victim at Blue Martini in Brickell the night of June 15. The two had drinks together but a witness said she would push drinks aside without drinking from them, the report said.

When the club closed White told the man she wanted to hang out longer, so they went back to his hotel room. The man left a drink unattended while he went to the bathroom and said he didn't remember anything after drinking from the glass until he woke up and found all his jewelry and money had been stolen, the report said.

Among the items taken were his $30,000 Rolex, a "yellow gold Cuban link chain" worth $30,000, a medallion on the chain worth $5,000 and $5,000 in hundred dollar bills, the report said.

The alleged victim, Israel Sosa, said he was visiting from New Jersey when the woman wooed him.

"She served me the drink, she gave it to me and the next thing you know, she said 'let's lay down.' I laid down and last thing I heard was the sink faucet running and then I jumped up around 7:30 in the morning and she was gone," Sosa told NBC 6.

When witnesses saw the woman back at the club early Friday, they called police and she was taken into custody.

White remained jailed on $7,500 bond Friday, records showed. Attorney information wasn't available.
