A woman was rushed to the hospital after she was struck by a hit-and-run driver in North Miami Sunday night.
The incident happened in the 11700 block of Northeast 2nd Avenue.
Officials said the woman was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center with serious injuries after she was struck by a car, which fled the scene.
Police were speaking with witnesses to try to get a description of the car. No other information was immediately known.
