A woman was airlifted to the hospital after she was struck by a trolley in Doral Monday, officials said.
The woman was struck by the city-owned trolley in the 6700 block of Northwest 104th Avenue. Doral police said that she was either getting on or off the trolley as the vehicle was moving forward when she was struck.
She suffered a leg injury and had to be airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center in serious condition.
Her name hasn't been released. No other information was immediately known.
