Woman's truck stolen by home invader in Pompano Beach

Authorities are investigating after they say man broke into a Pompano Beach home and tied a woman up in front of her 5-year-old grandchild before stealing the woman's pickup truck early Monday.

The home invasion happened just after 8 a.m. at the house in the 2100 block of N. Cypress Road, according to the Broward Sheriff's Office.

The BSO said two suspects were involved but only one went inside the home. The child wasn't tied up and no injuries were reported.

According to the BSO, the suspect stole the woman's cell phone, car keys, and tan-colored Ford Ranger truck.

Authorities haven't given any other details.
