Three women and a man are facing charges after police say a Miami man was held against his will and shot in the head over a $500 drug debt.
Ashley Perez, 21, Jennifer Areli Cortez, 25, Rachel Torna, 21, and Felipe Aviles, 26, are all charged with attempted murder and kidnapping, according to Miami Police arrest reports.
Police said the victim was discharged from Jackson Memorial Hospital on April 3 and was picked up by the suspects, who he knows. The victim had bought $700 in drugs and still owed Perez $500, the arrest reports said.
Once the victim got into the car, Aviles pulled out a gun and pointed it at the victim's head and demanded he pay him the money he owed Perez, the reports said.
The suspects drove the victim to a home so he could get clothes, and while he was there, he gave a witness a note that said "Papo they have me against my will because I owe them money. They have guns. As soon as I leave call the police and inform them. I'm in 5th Avenue 7th Street," the reports said.
The victim was brought to a home on Southwest 7th Street, where Perez told him he would sleep on the floor until he payed the money he owed her, the reports said. Perez also told Aviles to sleep on an enclosed porch to make sure the victim didn't leave, the reports said.
Perez continued to demand money from the victim as he was held against his will, while Torna and Cortez verbally insulted him and slapped him, the reports said.

After one or two days, the victim asked to leave so he could go to work, and Aviles and Perez became upset, the report said. Aviles pointed a gun at the victim, and was going to shoot him in the leg, but Perez grabbed the gun and shot the victim in the head, the reports said.
Perez told the victim she couldn't believe he was still alive, and told him to apply pressure to himself while she cleaned up the scene, the reports said.
On the afternoon of April 7, Miami police received an anonymous call that a woman had shot a man at the home. Officers arrived and found the victim and suspects.
Perez confessed to shooting the victim but Cortez, Aviles and Torna denied any involvement, the reports said. All four were booked into the Miami-Dade jail where they were being held without bond, records showed. Attorney information wasn't available.
The condition of the victim wasn't immediately known.
