A Florida zoo worker was hospitalized following an incident involving a rhino Tuesday.
The Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens confirms there was contact between a zookeeper and Archie, the Zoo’s male Southern white rhino.
The worker was taken to a nearby hospital for medical evaluation. Their condition was unknown.
The incident comes just a couple months after a 2-year-old girl was injured by a rhino at the Brevard Zoo in Melbourne.
