Wyclef Jean and the creator of the fitness routine known as Zumba will participate in Breast Cancer Awareness month events Wednesday, which start at the Miami International Airport and end in London.
American Airlines and American Eagle partnered with Susan G. Komen for the Cure and airlines employees in Miami will be wearing pink and all gates and ticket counters will be decorated with pink.
Zumba creator Beto Perez will host an eight-minute class in the American Airlines terminal of the airport before they leave for London where Perez will host an American-sponsored charity event in honor of the month on Oct. 16. The proceeds will go to breast cancer causes.
The length of the class was chosen because one in eight women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer.
