Multi-Million Dollar Yacht Crashes Into Drawbridge

A 160 foot yacht in the waters near Bay Harbour Islands didn't quite make it through a drawbridge and became temporarily lodged underneath Tuesday afternoon.

The yacht, which had “Rockstar” on the side, was passing through the bridge on 125th Street when the bridge came down on the top part of the boat.

The boat remained lodged in the drawbridge for about 20-25 minutes before finally being allowed to push back from the bridge. It was then towed to another location.

The bridge was put back down, but traffic had not started back across as safety inspections were being conducted. If you are heading that way, you are being asked to find an alternate route.

The boat was built by Trinity Yachts and has five staterooms and a two-level master suite. It's currently listed for sale on boatinternational.com by International Yacht Collection with an asking price just less than $21 million.
