1 Dead, 1 Trapped in Fiery Nevada Plane Crash Wreckage

One person was killed, two other people were injured and a fourth remained trapped in the wreckage of a small plane that crashed Sunday near Las Vegas, police and fire officials said. The plane crashed about 5:55 p.m. (8:55 p.m. ET) off Needles Highway and Big Bend Field near Laughlin, about 40 miles south of Las Vegas, Clark County fire officials said. One of the four passengers remained entangled in the still-flaming wreckage with undetermined injuries as local and state crews worked to free him or her. No other details were immediately available.
