Tropical Storm Cristobal lashed parts of the Caribbean on Sunday, flooding parts of the islands and killing at least three people. One man in the Dominican Republic was killed after he tried to drive his pickup truck across a surging river and two people in Haiti were swept away by a river that burst its banks. The U.S. National Hurricane Center said Cristobal may strengthen into a hurricane on Wednesday.
