4 U.S. Airmen Killed in Helicopter Crash in England

Four American airmen died when a U.S. military helicopter carrying live ammunition crashed in England on Tuesday, spreading debris across an area the size of a soccer field, according to NBC News. The Air Force HH-60 Pave-Hawk chopper was practicing flying at low altitudes when it went down, U.S. officials said. The area had been cordoned off from locals because the crashed aircraft contained live ammunition that is hazardous to members of the public, a local police chief said. The bodies remained at the scene early Wednesday because the coroner needed to conduct a daylight assessment of the scene, the chief added.
