An eight-year-old boy drove his four-year-old sister to McDonald’s because he was a craving a cheeseburger Sunday night, according to Ohio police.
East Palestine police officer Jacob Koehler told WFMJ News that the boy pulled up to the restaurant’s drive-thru window around 8 p.m. while his parents were sleeping.
The restaurant was located about a half mile from his home.
Officials say the boy just wanted to buy a cheeseburger, so he searched online for driving tutorials.
"He looked up videos on YouTube on how to drive," said officer Koehler.
Witnesses say the boy obeyed all the traffic rules by stopping at lights and driving under the speed limit.
