Chinese Strategy on North Korea ‘Has Not Worked': Kerry

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said Thursday that China’s strategy to defuse the North Korea nuclear strategy hasn’t worked, NBC News reported.

Kerry said he raised the North Korea nuclear problem at his first meeting in Beijing and that China wanted to avoid being too confrontational with Pyongyang.

He told reporters in Washington that China’s process “has not worked,” saying the United States “cannot continue business as usual.”

When asked by NBC News, Kerry refuted the idea that he hasn’t paid enough attention to North Korea following the country’s most recent nuclear test, saying it was “entirely inaccurate” and “without foundation.”
