Man Fatally Stabs Brother Over Mayweather-Pacquiao Fight: Cousin

Philadelphia Police found a man laying bloody and unconscious after he was allegedly stabbed by his brother over the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight.

Thirty-five-year-old John McGriff was found in the hallway of the second floor of his home on the 5800 block of Christian Street early Sunday after police responded to a call about a person screaming, according to officials.

Police say he was stabbed by his brother, Anthony McGriff, 50, during an argument about the much-anticipated boxing match that took place Saturday night.

The man was pronounced dead around 1 a.m.

The older man was charged with the murder of his brother and possession of an instrument of crime, police confirmed Monday.
