Amid a backdrop of polls showing declining support, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker headed to Ronald Reagan's alma mater in Illinois on Thursday to discuss how he plans to "wreak some havoc on Washington," promising his first day in office would be "one of the busiest the White House has seen in years."
“We need a leader who thinks more about the next generation than the next election,” Walker said at Eureka College. “Someone who willing to go big and go bold. It is not enough to elect a Republican as President, we need a reformer.”
The GOP presidential candidate regularly reminds voters about his record of fighting Democrats in Wisconsin, and the message was one that resonates with some of the potential supporters who come to meet him at small campaign events.
