WATCH: Stars of ‘Back to the Future' Reunite to Review Film's Predictions

"Back to the Future” stars Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd reunited to revisit prophecies made in the 1989 film.

Stars of "Back to the Future” Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd reunited for a video posted Wednesday to revisit prophecies made in the movie.

The film, released in 1989, was able to correctly guess that 3D movies and fingerprint technology would be available today. We're still waiting on dog-walking robots, however.

In the video – a spot for Toyota – Fox also humorously makes fun of Lloyd for still using a fax machine.

The end of the clip reveals that a full video will be unveiled Oct. 21, which coincides with the date Marty travels to the future from 1985 in "Back to the Future: Part II."

It’s too soon to tell if the duo's prediction about the Cubs winning the World Series this year is accurate.

Lloyd said in a recent interview he would enjoy throwing the first pitch if the Cubs make it to the World Series.

"Maybe it'll happen. We'll see," Lloyd told the Hollywood Reporter. "They got to get there first."
