Cops: 2 Teens Charged With Attacking Muslim Man in Bronx

Police in New York City have brought hate crime charges against two teenage boys they say attacked a Muslim man walking his niece home from school.

The 14-year-old and 15-year-old were arrested Friday in connection with the Jan. 15 attack near a public school in the Bronx.

Police say the teens knocked Bangladesh native Mujibur Rahman to the ground and yelled "ISIS, ISIS" as they beat him.

Rahman told the New York Post earlier this month he believed he was targeted because he was wearing traditional Islamic clothing. He had been walking his 9-year-old niece home from school when the assault occurred.

Rahman suffered a black eye and bruises to his face.

Police didn't identify the suspects because they are juveniles.
