Amy Schumer Confirms She Said ‘I Do' to Chris Fischer

The comedienne tied the knot at sunset in Malibu

“Yup.”

That's all Amy Schumer wrote on a Thursday Instagram post to confirm that she had tied the knot. The 36-year-old comedienne posted eight photos of her Tuesday wedding to chef Chris Fischer at sunset in Malibu, California.

"I dos" and personal vows were exchanged in front of their A-list guest list, which her photos show included Jennifer Lawrence, Larry David, Chelsea Handler and Bridget Everett. Comedian John Early presided over the ceremony.

Jennifer Aniston, Judd Apatow, Jake Gyllenhaal, Jerry Seinfeld, David Spade and more also attended the nuptials, according to E! News.

The "Trainwreck" star later shared more photos, showing intimate moments from the ceremony and candid shots with her guests.

Fellow comediennes shared well wishes with Schumer and her new husband.

"Wow!! So many congratulations, Amy!!" Mindy Kaling wrote on Instagram.

Aidy Bryant, Schumer's co-star in the new comedy "I Feel Pretty," commented six heart emojis.

Fischer is a 37-year-old chef and is most known for being Mario Batali’s sous chef at the New York City Italian eatery “Babbo.”

In another wedding Instagram post, Schumer addressed some serious news. In lieu of gifts, she asked for everyone to consider donating to “Everytown for Gun Safety" in honor of her wedding. The group advocates for gun safety and against gun violence.

"Thought of Mayce [sic] and Jillian a lot yesterday and sending love to everyone who has been affected by gun violence," Schumer wrote

In 2015, Mayci Breaux and Jillian Johnson were at a Louisiana movie theater watching Schumer's "Trainwreck" when a gunman shot and killed them. The incident led Schumer to speak out against gun violence on social media and in public.

Schumer's request for a wedding donation came one day after the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, which left at least 17 people dead.
