Nike's Mag sneakers were made famous by "Back To The Future II," and soon they'll be out of the silver screen on onto the streets.
The shoe company announced Tuesday that it's releasing its limited-edition, self-tying 2016 Nike Mag, but not straight to stores. Anyone who hopes to snag a pair first has to enter a lottery on Nike's website, or on the Nike+ App.
In order to enter the lottery, participants must make a $10 donation to the Michael J. Fox Foundation, which is the world's biggest nonprofit funder for Parkinson's disease research, according to a news release.

The shoes are made in part with the foundation — Marty McFly was wowwed by self-tying shoe technology in the 1989 classic movie — and proceeds are going to the foundation to contribute to Parkinson's disease research.
“Though it initially shared only a few seconds of screen time with Michael, the idea behind the Nike Mag unlocked something much bigger at Nike,” Mark Parker, chairman, president and CEO of Nike Inc. said in a statement. “It sent us down an uncharted path of innovation, but it also opened our eyes to our ability to fight some of the world’s biggest challenges. We feel privileged for the opportunity to raise even more awareness for the fight against Parkinson’s.”
The drawing began Tuesday and will end next Tuesday, Oct. 11. Winners will be announced Oct. 17.
