Boko Haram May Have Killed Thousands in Attack: Experts

A Boko Haram assault this week on the small city of Baga and nearby communities in northern Nigeria may have killed as many as 2,000 civilians, terror experts and U.S. officials say, NBC News reported. The attack left Baga and 16 other towns in ruins in what could be one of the most deadly terror attacks in history, district leader Musa Alhaji Bukar said. "These towns are just gone, burned down," Ahmed Zanna, a local senator, said. "The whole area is covered in bodies."
