Canada-Mexico Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Montana

A Mexico-bound flight made an emergency landing in western Montana on Sunday after extreme turbulence injured two flight attendants, NBC News reported. The flight, which originated in Canada, was carrying 181 passengers and six crew members to Puerto Vallarta in Mexico. It landed around 7:30 a.m. at Helena Regional Airport. "60 minutes into the flight we had 45 seconds of moderate turbulence followed by 45 seconds of severe turbulence," said Janine Chapman, a spokeswoman for Sunwing Airlines.
