Co-Founder of YouTube Lists in San Francisco

The Bay Area is chock full of tech millionaires (and even billionaires) though most don't even come close to reaching the notoriety or stature of Steve Chen, the co-founder of YouTube. While we can't all attain the success of YouTube's co-founder, now's your chance to live like the techie genius. According to The Wall Street Journal, Chen just hoisted his Ritz-Carlton penthouse onto the market for $8 million. Click through the gallery to take a peek inside this amazing sky-high crib.

The home in the clouds cost Chen $4.85 million back in 2007, though the the techie shelled out an undisclosed sum over 21 months to totally rebuild the empty space. The end result? A sweet penthouse, which sits atop San Francisco's Ritz-Carlton Residences.

A sleek modern feel permeates the entire apartment, along with a bevy of towering glass windows and ceilings. According to the WSJ, Chen's favorite part of the pad are the three televisions that hang side-by-side in the living room. He states, "You are able to watch CNN with the front speakers, keep up with the SF Giants with the rear speakers, then for the last monitor, you still have the weather station, ESPN, the PlayStation 3 etc. on all at the same time,"

A view of the modern kitchen, which Chen is deserting in favor of more family-friendly digs. He tells the WSJ that he's fleeing the city because he just had his second child. Doubtful if anyone will be surprised if Chen ends up in Silicon Valley / South Bay area.

The YouTuber's swanky home boasts a total of two bedrooms, which for a family of four isn't totally ideal. On the other hand, the building comes with a 24/7 concierge, two-level gym, two-car valet parking, and a resident lounge. Toss up?

With two-levels, Chen's home definitely doesn't disappoint. When Chen scooped up the place back in 2007 the spot was empty.

In addition to this sweet view, Chen's home also comes with a master bathroom, which includes lava-rock floors, a Toto toilet, south views and a glass wall that separates the bedroom from the bathroom and turns from clear to frosted with the flip of a switch.
