Deadly Storms Pass Northeast, as Hurricanes Surge off Coasts

A storm that killed two people on Monday pounded the Northeast with heavy rain and strong winds Wednesday night, NBC news reported. The storm system spawned 25 tornadoes across the South earlier in the week, killing an Alabama woman and a Marine veteran in Arkansas. Meanwhile, serious storms were developing on America's coasts: Hurricane Gonzalo rolled towards the Bahamas as Tropical Storm Ana continued to strengthen. Both storms are expected to be felt on Friday.
