Not Everyone Is Ready for Hillary Clinton: Poll

Hillary Clinton would crush Vice President Joe Biden among Democrats in a hypothetical presidential match up in 2016 but not everyone is sold on her potential candidacy, according to a NBC News/Marist poll of Iowa and New Hampshire voters. Seventy percent of Iowa Democrats would choose her, compared to 20 percent support for Biden. In New Hampshire, she leads 74 percent to 18 percent. Clinton is also viewed positively by 89 percent of Iowa Democrats and 94 percent of New Hampshire’s. Clinton is more vulnerable in a general-election contest. In Iowa she’s tied with Republican Sen. Rand Paul and would lead New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie by just 1 point in hypothetical match ups. If Democrats in the two states are sold on Clinton, Republicans haven’t made up their minds on who they would pick for a GOP presidential nominee, according to the pull.
