Elephant Kills Zookeeper in Missouri

An elephant at a Missouri zoo charged at and killed a zookeeper on Friday morning, NBC News reported. John Phillip Bradford, the manager of the elephants at the Dickerson Park Zoo in Springfield was working with several employees in the animal barn when the elephant charged at him. Police and medics were called to the zoo, and Bradford was pronounced dead at the scene. Bradford, 62, had worked at the zoo for 30 years and was a senior zookeeper, a zoo spokesperson said. Patience, the elephant, is a 41-year-old Asian elephant.
