"Elvis & Nixon," a comedy about the 1970 meeting between the king of rock 'n' roll and the president, will debut at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York.

Liza Johnson's film will play as Tribeca's centerpiece, the festival announced Tuesday. The Amazon Studios release stars Michael Shannon as Elvis Presley and Kevin Spacey as Richard Nixon.

Other selections include Katie Holmes' directorial debut, "All We Had"; the street art documentary "The Banksy Job"; and Tom Tykwer's adaptation of Dave Eggers' novel "A Hologram for the King," starring Tom Hanks.

Opening the festival's spotlight section will be Bill Purple's "The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea," a drama starring Jason Sudeikis and Jessica Biel.

The 15th annual Tribeca Film Festival runs April 13-24.
