GM Issues 4 More Recalls Day After Internal Shakeup

General Motors announced four more recalls on Friday, covering 105,688 cars and trucks globally, Reuters reported. The news comes a day after 15 employees were fired from the company and a handful of others disciplined over faulty ignition switches in GM vehicles, which have been linked to at least 13 deaths. Friday's recall covers a number of models, the majority being Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra pickup trucks from model years 2014 and 2015, which were recalled over faulty base radios, which may not provide audible warnings if a key is in the ignition or a front seat belt is not buckled. GM has recalled about 15.9 million vehicles globally this year.
