Poll: Hillary Clinton Leads Warren, Biden for President Among Democrats

A majority of Democratic voters said they would back a 2016 presidential run by former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll found. But Clinton faces a major challenge ahead of a potential campaign: 48 percent of Americans oppose her, while 50 percent could see themselves supporting her. Although that margin is small, it stands in sharp contrast to the numbers for well-known Republicans. Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush received just 31 percent of overall support and New jersey Gov. Chris Christie lagged behind with 27 percent. A whopping 71 percent of American voters want the next president to take a different approach from that of President Barack Obama. The poll also found that Obama's overall job approval is at 45 percent among all adults, and 31 percent believe the economy will improve within the next year.
