In a series of incredible images captured by British amateur photographer Martin Le-May, a weasel leaps onto the back of a flying woodpecker — not for a ride, but for lunch. As Le-May and his wife Ann watched the aerial acrobatics unfold in an east London park on Monday, they realized that "this was a struggle for life," he told ITV News. But the weasel's airborne audacity was for naught: The woodpecker managed to escape and the weasel returned to earth, hungry.
