Justin Bieber Helps President Obama Keep Promise

President Obama is on a roll right now, so anything is possible.

During his visit to Ground Zero last week, President Obama met 14 year-old Patyon Wall, who lost her father in the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center. It seems that Wall had written to the President after failing to get in touch with her musical idol, Justin Bieber, whose music she credits with helping her get over her loss.

Obama responded that he "knows Justin" and could help arrange a meeting.

New York magazine immediately pounced on the story, with the blaring headine: "Obama Makes Another Promise He Won't Be Able to Keep."

Slow down.

Yesterday, Bieber Tweeted: "I think you're wrong. Pretty sure President @BarackObama will keep this promise." He then linked to the New York magazine story.

Again: On a roll.

In her initial letter to Bieber, Wall wrote that she was inspired by Bieber's documentary "Never Say Never." "Hey! I have an awful life story and without your music I don't know if I could have survived," she wrote.

The 14 year-old said her decision to then reach out to the President wasn't just about fandom.

"I did it to honor my father," she said.
