Lindsay Lohan No Longer a Fugitive

LiLo reportedly use the "paparazzi defense" for showing up late to a rehab program

Lindsay Lohan won't be going to jail again just yet.

A Los Angeles judge this morning rescinded the arrest warrant issued Friday for the 22-year-old stemming from a DUI arrest in 2007.

Unfortunately for the paparazzi, Lohan's lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, appeared on behalf of the "Mean Girl" at the quick court hearing in Beverly Hills.

Judge Marsha N. Revel told Holley that the actress has been complying with the terms of her probation but needs to show her treatment program better documentation to avoid future court problems. The judge also noted that Lohan has not failed any drug or alcohol tests.

Holley said the warrant was the result of a misunderstanding.

Lohan pleaded guilty in August 2007 to two misdemeanor counts of being under the influence of cocaine; no contest to two counts of driving with a blood-alcohol level above 0.08 percent and one count of reckless driving.

Lohan spent 84 minutes in jail and had to perform community service and undergo drug-rehabilitation treatment.

TMZ had reported that the warrant was issued because Lohan was late at a court-ordered alcohol education program.  The gossip site also claims LiLo is going to use the paparazzi as a defense -- stating that shutterbugs slowed her schedule.

Access Hollywood had reported a source told them that Lohan may have violated her driving restrictions, which allow her to drive only for work, when she drove herself to Vegas to attend a DJ session by girlfriend Samantha Ronson.
