Golden Opulence Sundae, $1,000 (by appointment only).nSold at Serendipity 3 in New York City, this sundae consists of 3 scoops of Tahitian vanilla bean ice cream infused with Madagascar vanilla beans. It is covered in 23K edible gold leaf and drizzled with Amedei Porcelana chocolate and chunks of rare Chuao chocolate, which is from cocoa beans harvested by the Caribbean Sea on Venezuela’s coast. It is suffused with exotic candied fruits, gold dragets, chocolate truffles, marzipan cherries, and topped with a tiny glass bowl of salt-free Grande Passion caviar and infused with fresh passion fruit, orange and Armagnac. It is served with a petite mother of pearl spoon and topped with a gilded sugar flower. It comes in a Baccarat Harcourt crystal goblet with an 18K gold spoon to partake in the indulgence.

The dessert is served in a Serendipity goblet lined in edible gold with an 18K gold crown dripping in 1 carat of pure white diamonds (this can be worn as a bracelet). It brims with a cloud of whipped cream covered in 23K gold and topped with La Madeline au Truffle from Knipschildt Chocolatier. This ultimate dessert concoction is eaten with a solid 18K gold Serendipity spoon encrusted with 3 carats of rare black, white and chocolate diamonds, a one-of-a-kind signed piece of art created by Euphoria New York.

A Gilded Cannoli, slightly over $26,000. This dessert consists of edible (and real) gold, dark chocolate, whipped ricotta cheese, candied lemon and lemon peel. It is a creation by Carey Lennaccaro of Sprinkled with Sugar and is currently on display at Jasper's Ristorante in Kansas City. The dessert comes with a diamond necklace. A gilded cannoli cake without the necklace is also available for purchase at Jasper's.

Diamond Christmas Cake, approximately $1.8 million.nEmployees of Takashimaya Department store look at 223 diamond studded, total 170 carats, "Diamond Christmas cake" on the jewelry floor in Tokyo, Japan. The cake, with a price tag of 200 million yen (USD $ 1.72 million) is a two-layer hexagonal fruit cake measuring 20 cm. tall and 18 cm. in diameter and covered with pink icing. It is good for one year and can eat it after removing the diamonds.

Strawberries are soaked in wine worth $25,000 and it is served with whipped cream. The restaurant has partnered with MS Rau Antiques to provide a 7.09 carat pink diamond ring to complement the dessert. This treat was created to offer a one-of-a-kind proposal. There is also a scaled down version available for $8.25 at the restaurant.
