Bomb Blast Hits Syrian State TV Building

An explosion ripped through the third floor of the Syrian state radio and TV building in downtown Damascus early Monday injuring three people, The Associated Press reported. The bomb blast was the latest that shook the Syrian capital, which has been at the center of a string of suicide attacks and other bombings during the past few months as the country's civil war continues to escalate. The station remained on air after the blast. Information Minister Omran al-Zoubi blamed Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Israel for the attack, and said the explosion caused heavy material damage and light injuries among employees.
