Israel's ambassador to United Nations on Sunday dismissed claims by a terror group that it had captured an Israeli soldier in Gaza, NBC News reported. During a break in an emergency U.N. Security Council meeting on the crisis between Israel and Palestinians, Ambassador Ron Proson said, "There is no kidnapped Israeli soldier and those rumors are untrue." Hours earlier, a member of Hamas’ military wing claimed on television that it had captured an Israeli soldier during clashes.
