A disoriented passenger tried to open an exit door on a plane, mid-flight, causing the pilot to make an emergency landing. The US Airways flight, carrying 50 passengers from Maine to Philadelphia, landed in Boston Thursday after the incident occurred. A government source told NBC News that the passenger may have been suffering a seizure. A spokesperson for US Airways said the plane, Air Wisconsin Flight 3801, landed safely after the man was subdued by other passengers.
