With 16 Million Enrolled, Is Obamacare Debate Over?

There are now 16 million people enrolled in Obamacare, the administration has announced — and that means the Republicans in Congress who have led the push to repeal the law are now facing a 16 million person problem. Their mission to repeal looks more and more unlikely to succeed, and surveys suggest people who have gotten insurance through the law generally like it. The law is entrenched enough now that repealing it could threaten to interrupt millions of Americans' coverage, and even conservatives acknowledge that won't sit well with those voters. "If Republicans are going to campaign on taking health care away from millions of people, that's going to be a tough sell," a health care expert from conservative think tank the Manhattan Institute added.
