New Terror Arrest Tied to NY High School Student

Federal agents and local police made a second terror-related arrest in connection with an ongoing investigation involving an 18-year-old former high school student on New York's Long Island who admitted helping terrorists abroad earlier this year, law enforcement sources told NBC New York. The FBI, NYPD and prosecutors are not commenting on Friday morning's arrest or the suspect's identity. One official said there will be a court hearing later in the day. NBC 4 New York has learned this case is connected to the arrest of Justin Kaliebe, of Babylon, who pleaded guilty to providing material support to terrorists Feb. 8. He was arrested in January after trying to fly to Yemen to help al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula wage "violent jihad."
