Popular Princes Harry, William Overshadow Their Father, Charles

Charles is "overshadowed by the queen, and during his marriage to Diana she was the more famous half of the couple," royal historian Carolyn Harris said

The glitz and glamor surrounding new father Prince William and soon-to-be-newlywed Prince Harry contrasts with their father's unpopularity as the royal wedding approaches, NBC News reports.

Charles, the Prince of Wales, is next in line to the throne but only 9 percent of Britons named him as one of their favorite royals in a poll released Monday.

Harry is the most liked royal, followed by his older brother William.

Charles is "overshadowed by the queen, and during his marriage to Diana she was the more famous half of the couple," royal historian Carolyn Harris said.
