Film director Ron Howard is putting his property that spans the border from New York to Greenwich, Connecticut up for sale and the price tag is $27.5 million.

Ron Howard's estate in Greenwich is on the market. Tamar Lurie of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage and Lyn Stevens of Sotheby’s International Realty have the listing.

The main residence has six bedrooms, a library/office suite, a home theatre, a billiards room, a gym with a yoga studio and an indoor pool.

There is also a two-bedroom guest house, a sports barn, a greenhouse and barns.

The Oscar winning director issued a statement to The Greenwich Time calling the home "a very special place." He said he and his wife had moved there from Los Angeles in 1985 to raise a family, but are moving on now that their children are grown.
