One of Libya's most senior energy officials has been missing for five days, family members said on Tuesday, NBC News reported. OPEC Governor Samir Salem Kamal was last seen taking the elevator toward the parking lot at the Ministry of Oil in the capital Tripoli, his American family told NBC News. Kamal did not return home and his car has not been found. The country has been in a state of growing chaos and conflict since the overthrow of Moammar Gadhafi in 2011.
