Wanda Sykes entertained guests at the dinner, poking fun at the guest of honor – President Obama. In particular, the comedian referenced his recent gift of an iPhone to the Queen when he visited the United Kingdom.

"What are you going to give the Pope, a Bluetooth?" Sykes asked according to the Associated Press.

The comedian also threw a barb Michelle's way, making reference to when the First Lady patted the Queen on the back during the couple's visit.

"Like she just slid into home plate – way to go, queen!" Wanda said, according to the AP.

And President Obama tried out a few lines too. He reportedly poked fun at himself over his use of Teleprompters.

The black-tie event supports the needy and helps fund journalism scholarships.
