The 2010 Razzie Award Noms: “And the Loser is…”

People openly gush about the Golden Globes. They flagrantly worship at the altar of the Oscars.

But they secretly LOVE the Razzies.

The "Golden Raspberry Awards"  are an annual tribute to cinema's best of the worst (started in 1981 by publicist John J.B. Wilson) and they have become the award show guilty pleasure to top them all. Some nominees have even attended to accept their dishonor in person (most notably, Halle Berry, who bravely took it on the chin over "Catwoman") - a move that never fails to score points with haters.

So which movies and actors are headed towards a public pantsing? Well, the inexplicably popular "The Twilight SagaEclipse" and M. Night Shyamalan's disastrous "The Last Airbender" lead the way with nine nominations each (but, c'mon Razzies - isn't the sub-Scary Movie parody "Vampires Suck" too easy a target?). Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler are called out for being among the worst onscreen couples, Jessica Alba may be the first actress to be nominated for Worst Supporting Actress in four different films, and a special 2010 category roasts the most "Eye-Gouging Mis-Use of 3D."
