Tinder CEO Admits Addiction to Hookup App on Eve of IPO

An interview published the day before Tinder's initial public offering found the company's CEO and co-founder admitting that he is addicted to the hookup app.

"Every other week I fall in love with a new girl," the admittedly single Sean Rad told London Evening Standard.

The interview, which talks of turning down supermodels who beg to have sex with him, wasn't enough to swipe away enthusiasm for the first day on the stock market.

According to Associated Press, shares of Match Group Inc., which owns properties including Tinder, Match.com, OKCupid, Vimeo and About.com, rose 18 percent on the first day of trading, increasing from $12 to $14.17 on Thursday.
