U.S. Sending Tanks, Troops to Baltic States and Poland

U.S will deploy troops and tanks in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Poland in the next two weeks, on a mission designed to deliver an unmistakeable message of NATO resolve to Moscow, Reuters reported. All three Baltic States, and Poland, who are now NATO and European Union members, were once a part of the Soviet Union and analysis say Moscow would like to reassert its influence there. U.S. military says it is the first time armored reinforcements will be shipped to Europe since the Cold War in the 1990s.
