Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders headed back to New Hampshire.

The U.S. senator from Vermont delivered the keynote address at the New Hampshire AFL-CIOs Labor Day Breakfast in Manchester Monday morning.

He's also scheduled to march in the Milford Labor Day parade and attend the Amherst Democrats Labor Day Barbecue. Later Monday, he'll open his Concord campaign office.

Sanders has emerged as the strongest of four Democrats vying for the nomination against the favorite, former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Former Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley, and former Sens. Jim Webb of Virginia and Lincoln Chafee of Rhode Island also are running on the Democratic side.
