Thursday night, the Miami Dolphins return to Florida for their first preseason game in the Sunshine State – but it won’t be inside Hard Rock Stadium.
The Dolphins will hit the road for the third straight game, this time heading to Orlando for a preseason tilt with the Atlanta Falcons – and NBC 6 is the only place to catch all the action!
Tune in Thursday at 7:30 PM for our exclusive pregame show, as Adam Kuperstein will be live inside Camping World Stadium. He’ll be joined by former Dolphins legend Jason Taylor to provide all the insight before Miami takes the field.
The game was moved from South Florida to Orlando earlier this summer, with Miami still being the home team. The Dolphins will return home for their preseason finale on September 1st against the Tennessee Titans.
So far, the Dolphins sit at 1-1 in the preseason, losing last Friday to the Dallas Cowboys 41-14. Thursday night, many of the team’s starters will play much of the game as the third preseason game is traditionally seen as the closest to a regular season game in terms of strategy.
This is Miami’s only scheduled game this season on NBC, however games in the regular season could be moved due to the NFL’s flex scheduling rules starting with Week Five games.
