Some things to watch in the Atlantic Coast Conference in Week 6:
GAME OF THE WEEK
Florida State (4-1, 2-1 ACC) at No. 14 North Carolina State (4-1, 0-1)
The Wolfpack climbed two spots last week in the AP Top 25 to grab their first top 10 ranking since 2002, then lost the first top 10 matchup in program history, 30-20, at No. 5 Clemson. Another loss and forget about capturing the Atlantic Division title, and a visit to No. 22 Syracuse follows with the Orange coming off a bye. The Seminoles lost 31-21 at home to Wake Forest, which moved up seven spots this week to No. 15. The setback dropped the Seminoles from No. 23 out of the AP poll.

BEST MATCHUP
North Carolina (4-1, 1-0) at Miami (2-2, 0-0)
It's the conference opener and a Coastal Division clash for the Hurricanes, whose losses were to Middle Tennessee and Texas A&M. The Hurricanes defense will have to deal with UNC quarterback Drake Maye, who leads the nation in points responsible for. UNC is tied with Duke for the top spot in the division and is seeking its fourth straight win in the series, which would be a first for the Tar Heels.

LONG SHOT
Army (1-3) at No. 15 Wake Forest (4-1, 1-1). The Black Knights are struggling for one of the few times under Jeff Monken, who's in his ninth year. Army's lone win was 49-10 over FCS foe Villanova. Last year's game at West Point was a barnburner, with the Demon Deacons holding on for a 70-56 victory behind Sam Hartman's five TD passes. It was Army's third straight loss and ended its home winning streak at 13.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
In Georgia Tech's 26-20 upset win over Pitt last week, place-kicker Gavin Stewart scored the Yellow Jackets' first 12 points. It was the team's only scoring until midway through the fourth quarter. He had field goals of 40, 37, 33, and 30 yards and converted both extra points for a 14-point game, a career high.
IMPACT PLAYER
North Carolina quarterback Drake Maye has thrown 19 touchdown passes and suffered only one interception while completing 115 of 165 (69.7%) passes for 1,594 yards. Hés the only ACC QB averaging over 300 passing yards a game (318.8), his quarterback efficiency is a league-high 187.6, and the Tar Heels lead the ACC inscoring, averaging 45.4 points.
