Curry's Golden Night Too Much For Heat

Stephen Curry had an exceptional night as his Warriors beat the Heat 114-97 in Miami

The Miami Heat had a large lead early but Stephen Curry's big game led the Golden State Warriors to a 114-97 win on Tuesday.

At one point in the first half, the Heat held a 16-point advantage. Miami stayed in the game until the latter part of the fourth quarter despite the final score. The loss ended a two-game winning streak for Miami and dropped it to 8-7 on the year. The Heat are also only 4-5 at home with three of the losses coming in blowout fashion.

Stephen Curry had 40 points for the Warriors and hit eight of his 11 attempted three-point attempts. Curry added seven assists and six boards for good measure. His impact was noticeable as the Heat regained the lead in the fourth quarter with Curry on the bench. When the All-Star came back into the game, Golden State went on a 14-0 run to seal the win.

On the Miami side, Chris Bosh was once again solid. Bosh who has enjoyed a great year had 26 points and nine boards in 34 minutes. Bosh was 2-3 on his trey attempts while adding a block and an assist.

James Ennis actually made the biggest impact for the Heat as the team was +17 with him on the court. Ennis had eight points and rebounds with four assists. Ennis was very active inside the paint and on defense as well. The rookie played 22 minutes while picking up a steal and two blocks.

Dwayne Wade missed his seventh straight game while Norris Cole returned to the lineup after being unavailable for a pair of games. Chris Andersen also missed this one due to a sprained ankle.

The Heat will now be off until Sunday when they travel to New York for a game with the Knicks.
